BIPOC WIC Staff: Apply for a Scholarship to attend one of NWA’s Fall Conferences!

National WIC Association (NWA) is offering eight (8) scholarships (four (4) per conference) to BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) WIC staff from WIC Local Agencies or ITOs with active NWA membership. We are delighted to offer the opportunity as a part of our commitment to diversity and inclusion in our work.

The deadline for both scholarship applications is Friday, July 31st.

What do these scholarships include?

• Scholarships to attend the 2026 Virtual NWA Technology, Innovation, and Vendor Management Conference (September 9-10, 2026) cover the full registration fee for the conference.
• Scholarships to attend the 2026 NWA Nutrition Education & Breastfeeding Conference (November 16-18, 2026, in Atlanta, GA) cover:
• Conference Registration
• Flight/Ground transportation to and from the conference (cap of $700 for your flight)
• Three nights at the conference hotel (Sunday, November 15th - Wednesday, November 18th)

*Scholarship recipients will be responsible for their own meals and baggage fees.
