You will interact with your colleagues from across the state while:

• Mastering the MI core principles, including the frequently cited OARS
• Determine how to apply each principle in a 5-7 minute counseling session.
• Learn how to open, manage, and close a short WIC session by focusing on change talk and goal-setting.
• Practice with relevant case studies, dialogue, role-play, and examples from the WIC setting
• Utilize tip sheets and quick references with your WIC clients
• And much more!
